N-400 April 2020 Filers

My n400 application was received April 11 but I have not received any biometric appointment. Anyone in the same situation like me?

We are in the same situation with the only notice  that the application was received.  It still says expected completion January 2021.

FYI guys. As I put on here earlier that my Biometrics are being reused. My last ones were done in august of 2018. I really wish they would refund you the money if they were not going to use them.

Same boat. What’s your local office? Mine is KC, Missouri.

Same here Chicago Office, sent application on 28th April.

KCMO has been decimated.. They laid off 800 of 1300 ASC contractors.

I read on the other forum that a March 15th applicant got bio this past Fri. But his wife, ,who has the same NOA of March 16th, hasn't heard a peep. 

I have NOA of march 22nd so a week behind him, and nothing.  It took them 3.5 months to clear the reschedulings and finally they 've moved to the new batch and are doing NEW bios. I would imagine it's going to be in spring '21 , a year after NOA that we'll get bios.

Thanks for sharing that. I see a glimmer of hope after knowing that there is some movement even if it’s at the pace of a snail. By NOA do you mean priority date?

Once we get past the biometrics, does the process speed up from there??

Same here. Nothing since "We received your case".

Chicago here too. myuscis site says Estimated case completion time: January 2021 (2 months). Is that what yours says?

I think in pre-Covid times, that was the case. But now, who knows.

We are also. Most of us are. I find it encouraging that some people are moving forward but it's case by case, office by office now. Our estimated completion date is February 2021.

 

I sure hope they reuse our biometrics. We have to fly to Honolulu for all appointments.

Biometrics appointment schedule for tomorrow, the appointment letter was suppose to arrive on November 5th, USPS lost it. But i've printed it from my USCIS account hopefully that'll work for them.

That's crazy, it would be criminal not use biometrics in a case like that. Really hope they reuse them!

I really hope they don't ask for the ORIGINAL COPY that they MAILED to me, because US POST OFFICE lost it.  Anyone use a copy from their USCIS account?
