N-400 April 2020 Filers

Hi everyone. I received my receipt notice on April 17, 2020 and I am still waiting for a biometrics appointment. Anyone else in the same boat? From what I can tell, even some May/June filers have received their bio appointments. I am confused.

Update: estimated wait time now says 31 days. Seems oddly specific but let's see what happens.

It was 2 months before, so I think it's just counting down. Just weird that it would starting counting down by the day.

Our receipt is dated April 21, 2020 and haven't heard anything about biometrics either. Case completion estimated December 2020 (after being moved from September, then October until finally landing on December). Local office is in Reno.

Same boat, my receipt is April 17, 2020 and haven't heard anything yet. Applied in Miami, Florida and Case completion estimated October 2020, now is November 2020. 

 

We will begin reviewing your application by conducting a background check in order to identify any issues that need to be addressed. We will schedule a biometrics appointment to collect your fingerprints. We will also review your application to make sure you have submitted all of the required information and documentation.

Hopefully that’s good news! My estimated completion date is not there anymore. Used to be September 2020, then It changed to October 2020 a few days ago and now nothing 😩

Hi, 

Good News!! So I just saw the update on the USCIS website indicating they will reuse my Biometrics from my recent ROC Process (2019) and that my interview was already scheduled for Nov 17. The letters are still in the mail but I was able to download them from the website with this information. That was a nice surprise since my case estimate was recently pushed for July 2021, so I didn't expect to hear anything until next year. Hopefully this is one of those situations where they do the interview and the oath ceremony on the same day. Now I must start studying for the Civics test. 😉

Amazing! Congratulations and yes hopefully you get to hit 2 birds with one stone. My case says January 2021 but I have not seen any progress at all on my end.

Update: I just received status update that my interview got scheduled!! the MyUSCIS website is under system maintenance today according to the USCIS website so I have not seen the interview letter yet!

My field office is Hialeah, FL and filed early April

Hello I am a KCMO filer as well. As you may read under the March thread, I am a mid March filer and still haven't received bio.  My receipt notice is exactly 4 months prior to yours and still crickets.
