Hi again guys!

 

I went to my biometrics appointment last Wednesday (1/13) and today I got an email that my interview was scheduled. I can’t see the appointment notice yet, I’m guessing tomorrow will be up. My field office is Lawrence, MA.

I messaged USCIS about my biometrics since my completion date says Feb 2021. I didn’t really get any info

Here’s their reply: 

Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for biometrics at their local Application Support Center (ASC). Biometrics appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the ASC. Once you have been scheduled for an appointment, you will receive an ASC Appointment Notice to appear at a certain date and time at your local ASC. You must take the ASC Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment.

This is the standard message they have been sending everyone.  They do not provide any individual replies.

i also wonder why my friend’s biometrics from 2018 was reused and i didn’t get that notif. I also had my biometrics done back in 2018.😢

I got the same reply when I inquired for the first time. When I sent a second request for updates they just told me my case is within the processing time.

It seems the Chicago office is more disorganized than others. I don't really understand the reasoning, curious of May Chicago filers are getting updates.

According to the Lawfully app, there's the probability of my case being completed by end of March:

Biometrics completed on November 12th, but lawfully app says different. 71 days and no interview yet. Maybe time to give them a call, and see if everything is okay ?

Any New Yorkers here who already had biometrics appointment or interview scheduled? 

 

I've applied in June 2020 and still didn't hear anything back since initial notice. Estimated case completion time under my account is 2 months so was wondering if anyone here already got interview scheduled.

I finally got my biometrics notice 1/23/21. I don’t have the date yet. But how long does it usually take from biometrics to being interviewed?

I just checked my account again, my Completion time is now October 2021. I’m getting really impatient. I hope it won’t really get that long.

Still no updates here. I don't really understand why people who filed after my husband did are getting updates. This whole system makes no sense.

 

October 2021? That seems absurdly long. I've heard that the estimation dates are not accurate.
