Interview was today. Took 10 minutes and approved. Ceremony in a week. Very quick and painless!

Basic questions about the application, followed by civics test, followed by reading (on a tablet) and writing (on a tablet). All of that was followed by additional yes/no questions about the application (were you ever doing anything illegal, etc)

CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉🥳

Hi peeps,
I do not post a lot but was lurking this thread for months.

Well, I had my interview + ceremony combo today! Applied April 5, notice of bio reuse on October 16 and interview today. Phoenix, AZ.

Had an interview at 8am, waited for about 30 minutes. Interview was about 20 minutes. Then waited for about extra 30 minutes for the ceremony. Got out around 10:30-11.
Interview was straight forward - biographical verification (phone number, address, SSN,....), civics, read & write followed by no, no, no, no, no,... yes, yes, yes... questions :) My IO was very pleasant and professional. Was not even asked for any of the original documents.

Wishing you all good luck. It sure pays off! :) I can finally say I am a proud American! Can't wait to "cancel" my husband's vote in the next federal elections, hee hee

Super Happy for you :)

And its once again shows how disproportionately Uscis has there timelines... its just makes no since.

For example.

On Uscis official web site shows   Estimated time range  for Phoenix AZ  14-18 month  and "Receipt date for a case inquiry" - June 03, 2019

in the same time my  Washington DC office has Estimated time range  - 11-15.5 month and "Receipt date for a case inquiry" -
August 12, 2019

Phoenix  with  longer processing time  scheduling interview   and in the same time Washington DC  with 2 month ahead dates  doing nothing ___

I have applied on March 26, 2020  --- and not even biometric appointment yet...

Exactly. Makes no sense. Maybe the staff is distributed differently now in COVID world so the projected processing times are now off.
Following this thread, I did not expect my interview to happen until around April next year.

W.T.F.? Why is every Field Office has normal estimated time range (say 12-18 months) and Atlanta has 12.5-30.5 months and keep on increasing? Why?
