Yesterday this journey was finished for me and I am so happy about it. I had my interview and after an hour there was a small oath ceremony in another room. As you know I filed early April. Good luck with you all!

Big congrats on your journey completion. Keep the rest of us in your prayer!!!! lol😀

Just a question if i don't receive the BIOMETRIC APPOINTMENT LETTER by MAIL, can i just print the one in my account and use that one or does it have to be the original one by mail?

You will receive it. It took 9 days for mine to arrive. Scheduled on October 21st, got the letter on the 30th. But if you don't get it I think it's fine to print it. What they want is the barcodes that appear on the letter to scan them. Don't quote me on that but that was my backup plan as well.

This is really stressful.. I need some advice. Please help.

As reading another post from March filers, someone got rejected because he or she applied 1 month after moving.

I just found that I am eligible to apply for N400 after 3 months of living in the same address.. (Why this didn't go through my mind before applying?) I moved to a different state in the beginning of February and submitted online application in April 8, 2020. I haven't heard anything yet except for the receipt notice.

So here are some questions:

1) Is there a possibility that my application will get approved?

2) Before my application gets denied, can I cancel my application and resubmit it to save some wait time?

3) Or should I wait to get the rejection and then resubmit my application? And is this safer and faster than #2?

Will appreciate your time and advice!!!!!!!!

It depends on your country's cooperation with USCIS. "USCIS conducts other inter-agency criminal background and security checks on all applicants for naturalization". It depends on how long the FBI takes to conduct all background and name checks.

...October 20 i emailed to check on the status of my case..

today they emailed me this...

I HAVE NOT RECEIVE ASC NOTICE YET...

"Thank you for your inquiry dated October 20, 2020.

Requesting information about your N-400, Application for Naturalization.

USCIS systems indicate that on April 30, 2020, we created and mailed you an Application Support Center (ASC) Appointment Notice. You may also view and print a copy of your USCIS ASC Appointment Notice within your USCIS online filing system account. After you log in to your USCIS online filing system account, access the Home Tab to find the "Documents" field to view or print your official appointment notice from USCIS. Your appointment is on November 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM. You'll receive your new ASC notice shortly.

Your case is currently in suspense until you appear and complete the process at the ASC for your biometrics. If your appointment time has passed, or if you need to reschedule the appointment, please complete the Request for Rescheduling portion of the notice."
