The tactic by the media and lefty politicians is quite clear:

 

- Make it all about Trump when narrative driving

- When losing control of narrative, shut down anything about Trump (e.g. stop doing pressers)

 

You see this on social media as well, with team Oliver Darcy and Carlos Maza employing shut down squads getting competing people in media banned all over the place order to try and control narratives.

 

Noticeably, the left have no actual ideas of their own others want, so this is what they resort to.
