I figured you could change your interview embassy since youre living in Mexico but since youre not a resident then I dont know 😁. Youre better off interviewing in Colombia anyway !

Yeah, indeed.

I just completed the Ds-260, and uploaded AOS documents ( they only asked for form I-864, and federal tax..which we used 2019 tax return..the whole thing. I uploaded a bunch of things anyways.. proof of us citizenship, proof of domicile, proof of self employed, 2018, 2017 tax transcript) and civil documents.

Can anybody help me, since I don't have 2019 Tax Return.. still waiting.. Should I keep on waiting or go a head and submit 2018 2017 2016 instead? thanks in advance. Right now the Tax return period extended to July from my understanding.

Hi,

You can submit 2018, 17, and 16 due to the extension of 2019 tax returns.

thank you! Yes the IRS is experiencing problems, and they have not giving me a official date it will be available. Since I can submit all Doc I really don't want to drag on waiting. do u suggest I wrote a Cover letter explaining the situation?  and that I will add on current Income Evidence for more information.

Thank!

It sounds like you have already filed your 2019 taxes but having difficulty accessing the transcript, is that correct?

Are you referring to 2019 transcripts? As another poster mentioned you can go ahead using the 2018 transcript instead, as it's technically still the "most recent tax year" due to 2019 filing date being postponed.

I'm the petitioner/sponsor, residing in the US and have submitted tax transcripts for last 3 years and paystubs as proof of current employment, do I still need to upload any document as proof of domicile? If so, what document can I provide (driver license, utility bills?) Appreciate any suggestion.

Hi, it can be one of those. we used my husband’s driver license. We uploaded it under additional documents because they didn’t asked for it on the AOS documents. We did it just in case.
