Hi, when you re-upload a document requested, does the date upload keep the first submission date (highlight in red)?

@Alix64 what did you re-upload of marriage cert date show or was it a brand new upload?

I had to resubmit the I-864 because I needed to separate multiple document types. I added the additional documents below and those dates reflected the second re submission dates.

Wondering if I did something wrong with the I-864 re-submission?

Congratulations my dear, just to confirm what you posted, you submitted Feb 29,2020 and was DQ today?

Thank you!!! 😊😊😊

I just noticed that I made a mistake on my first post. So I want to correct that.

Our first submission was on January (not February)29.2020

Hi Ptitchou,

My husband and I are both remarried. So, you need to upload :

- your actual marriage certificate;

- and both your divorce decrees. If they are very long documents, try to get a 3 pager or something. My husband (US citizen)'s divorce decree was over 30 pages long (I know...) and he managed to get a 3 pagers that was clearly stipulating that he was divorced.

Remember that each docs must weight maximum 2Mo in a pdf format.

To be clearer, no need to upload your previous marriage certificates. NVC just wants to make sure you are probably divorced and remarried.

Take care,

Alix

Thank you! You didn't need your first marriage certificate at all for either of you, just the current one to your spouse?

Thanks for confirming! I had a minor freakout on it, like I didn't submit when I'm sure I did.

That is funny you ask. I was puzzled as well.

The document that was originally uploaded was not the correct one, so when I got the RFE, I DELETED the wrong one and uploaded the new one. The date of my first submission remained the same (Jan31).

Thanks for the answer. My husband is thinking of banning me from this site and log ins into NVC until we get an email because I am too anxious and checking everything single thing.

Thanks again!
