AOS? So are you in the States now? How Does this work? I’m Canadian and hubby is USC, We weren’t sure whether we should wait til we get the CR1(NVC submission Feb 20)or I should just get to the states and do AOS.

Do you mind share your story(how to apply, what to expect etc) please?

Because even if we get DQ by end of this month, we need to wait minimum 6months for the interview, right? So we are thinking about AOS as an option too.

Thank you so much in advance and congrats!

The AOS we're talking about here isn't the AOS (Adjustment Of Satus) you're thinking about. The AOS at the NVC stage stands for Affidavit of Support, its the very first thing you do on the CEAC website once the NVC creates your case.

Hi sorry for the miscommunication. I am in Canada.  I meant affidavit of support  / US citizen docs.

Only thing I can think of is that we submitted the AOS on Jan 28, and IV / Docs on Feb 7.   Otherwise yes! first submission. Thank you :)

Im gonna agree with you on this because they went off the date we submitted our AOS also, which was 2wks before our IV.
