China's coronavirus infection count leaves out asymptomatic cases, will start to include them this week

And this is just one verified criteria that came out of locked-down China:

China's decision to exclude people without symptoms from its official coronavirus count not only raises questions about the actual number of infections but also puts its own citizens at risk as the country races to restart its economy amid the pandemic.

Public concerns about the dangers of infection by asymptomatic carriers has grown in recent days, as Beijing began to relax restrictions on its public transportation and businesses.

In Wuhan, a city in central China largely believed to be where the virus originated, local authorities were forced to defend their decision not to report certain cases following a story in Caixin magazine that claimed Chinese officials were still finding asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 daily, despite reporting drops in their numbers to indicate China was on its way to beating the coronavirus.

Though authorities in Wuhan have shrugged off complaints it wasn't accurate in its reporting, Chang Jile, a Chinese health official, said the country would start reporting the number of people who aren't showing symptoms of COVID-19 beginning Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal reported.

"It's OK if they aren't included in the tally of confirmed cases," Zeng Guang, the chief epidemiologist of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, told a state-run magazine.

Too bad that no one will ever be able to rely on China's statistics; they could be anywhere from partially to immensely helpful in determining the nature and course of this virus.  How beautiful is Communism?

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

The facilitator of the spread, and the promoter of western behavior to propagate it, are the "leaders" the MSM and left look up to.

Tells you all you need to know about what they want for the US. #TeamChina

If the world ever recovers from this, a backlash against those clowns might be forthcoming.  One is certainly warranted.

Best backlash is Trump's America First policies, production in the US, bringing stability back to the US while the left is teaming up with China to destabilize.

Not that we needed intelligence people to tell us what we already knew:

Quote

China lied about coronavirus, putting world in jeopardy, US intelligence agents say

As coronavirus cases have jumped in recent days, China misled the world by purposely underreporting its numbers of patients and deaths, three U.S. intelligence officials say.

In a classified report sent to the White House, the officials said that China's public record of COVID-19 infections was deliberately deceptive and incomplete.

Bloomberg, which first reported the news, cited three U.S. intelligence officers who they said they alerted the White House last week to Beijing's misleading numbers. Two of the three sources called the numbers flat-out fake.

While there have been skeptics all along, China's decision to downplay its numbers could have deadly consequence for the rest of the world.

Deborah Birx, the State Department immunologist advising the White House on its response to COVID-19, said Tuesday that China's numbers influenced assumptions in other countries about the nature of the contagion.

"The medical community made -- interpreted the Chinese data as: This was serious, but smaller than anyone expected because I think probably we were missing a significant amount of data, now that what we see happened to Italy and see what happened to Spain."

Since the beginning of the pandemic, China has been accused of multiple coverups. It has shifted its timeline on what it knew and when it knew it and has gone after critics, doctors and whistleblowers trying to sound the alarm.

In recent weeks, China has launched a coordinated campaign to boost its global image. It has rebranded itself, tried to restart its economy and sold supplies to hard-hit countries struggling to contain the virus within their borders.

"The only thing better than playing themselves as a victim is showing that they can emerge as a resilient hero," Greg Barbaccia, an expert in counterintelligence, insider threat and corporate espionage, told Fox News.

Puts that Ian Bremmer quote above in perspective. Dump these people in China. Placating to this sort of dangerous authoritarianism while trashing the US should be shown no mercy.

I think as long as we're seeing it in the scope of "truth" vs. "lies" and stop our thought process there, we'll continue to pointlessly wonder.

Just like there are the Carl Icahn's of the economic/finance world who benefit greatly from chaos and destruction, there are people of the same nature in the political world. These are people sowing chaos and instability in the west.

The reason I quoted Ian Bremmer isn't merely to pick on him, but because this sort of thing is commonplace in the media now, he's just one example. These aren't idiots, they are people who simply are working against the US (for their own selfish reasons), and people need to start making the easy leap away from the disarming Hanlon's Razor, and stop being afraid to have a backbone.

China's sole goal is to preserve the (reputation of the) regime.

They care nothing for their own people.

Who knows how many ill citizens were dragged off and left to die?

The government reported fewer deaths than there were cremation urns being returned to relatives of the dead.
