You need to register and pay the fee.  Once you do that, then they will immediately receive the sticker assuming that they have visa in passport.  There are a couple of CFO offices in the Manila area

So we have to go to the CFO office?  This sounds like a pain in the backside. We can't afford a special trip to Manila just to get a sticker. Trying to haul luggage for four people from the airport to the CFO office the day we leave isn't going to work either. Don't they have an easier way to do this?

You need to visit a CFO office at some point and pay the fee.  Is Davao more convenient?

YMMV

It's an 8 hour bus ride...I don't know how cheap it would be to fly there.

Your other option is to schedule a long long layover in Manila before the international leg of your trip.  Luggage stays with the airline.

YMMV

As of right now, you can just print off the CFO sticker online, without a seminar: https://cfo.gov.ph/filipino-spouses-and-partners-of-foreign-nationals/

(depending on your visa type, who knows how long this will last)

That is good news for those that have their visa in hand.   One requirement is uploading a copy of the visa.

For those that do not have their visa this online process will not be viable, and once the lock down is over so you can complete the visa process you will be back to having to attend the CFO-CGP seminar.

What is the easiest way to do this PDOS?  Fiance in Northern Mindinao with two kids. We would like to pick up in Manila prior to leaving.. Ideally on the way out... But can't drag all our luggage from airport and back again... Too much of a hassle

Depends on the age of the children.  Being you are talking 4 and 6 they need only register when they receive their stickers.   Not sure if that can be done at NAIA .. you will have to call CFO to find out.  Would be nice if you could register the youngsters at NAIA.

But I still need to show up at CFO for stickers, correct? I can't get them at NAIA?

I am not sure with the 4 & 6 y.o. if the registration can be completed at NAIA (registration is all that is needed to get the sticker).   My gut says yes, but I don't know for fact .. have to call or email CFO.

Except a k1 does GCP and k2 does PDOS.   GCP can be done before Visa issuance,  PDOS cannot

Thanks

My K2 is 18 years old. Does she need GCP or PDOS?
