NVC timeline on IR-1/CR1 visas

I agree with jasmin... People please update your cases so that we get some sort of approx timelines.

I got my case number on July 2nd and waiting for DS3032 & AOS bill generation. I was hoping this monday or tuesday :no: but looks like gotta wait for next week Monday,Tuesday.

I will use the email route for choice of agent. The moment they update the recorded message, OUT goes my choice of agent email to them......

Make sure email goes out of the Beneficiary's email address. Your DS3032 and AOS Fee Bill should generate next Monday and NVC will update their automated system on Tuesday.

My case was completed on July 7. Now I just need to wait a year to get an appointment in ciudad Juarez.

Guys, how are they going to know if it's the petitioner's email addy or the beneficiary? Or are you assuming if the couple use different email addys? I mean, my hubby and I use the same email address and it's generic (doesn't contain our names). OTOH I am still waiting more than a week after emailing them a question about the AOS fee bill with no response. Hmmm?

Its always better to have separate email address for husband and wife. In case if CO ask you record of emails exchange as a proof of marriage.

It only takes 5 minutes to create an email account and my advise will be to create one just for the beneficiary and send DS3032 email from that account.

Thanks Jaxguy, I see. In our case we don't really have a problem establishing proof of marriage as we just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary! :luv:

But I can see where that's good advice for others who are recently married. Anyway, just in case they have some other reason to be stinky about it, I'll start using a different email address than the one my husband put on the petitions. (it's all going to the same computer anyway, but I guess they won't know that!).

I ended up calling the NVC this evening and actually got a real person to answer my question anyway. It was my first time calling them - an odd experience!

Okay, by popular demand I removed those who haven't updated their cases or havent logged in a looooong time.

AmberBee removed, last logged in early 2007.

manana removed, last logged in over four months ago.

Natty Bumppo removed, even if he remains active on the forum, his case hasn't been updated for five months.

bsuboyus removed, since he is inactive and his case hasn't been updated either for six months.

Kiya removed, unupdated profile and generally inactive.

arwensun1965 removed, unupdated profile and generally inactive.

If anyone feels misstreated, please message me or this thread, uppdate your dates and I (or someone else) will quickly add you back on to the list !

I also added a moving average count on this list (because of popular demand), even if it's rather troublesome to update, I'll try to keep it up somewhat !
