Hi everyone,

I hope that the NVC starts finding IV bills soon, because I'll be sending mine in today! I just got my IV bill yesterday. Apparently, it was liking the NVC office so much that it decided to stay for an extra 10 days after the fee bill was generated. :angry: Then it was traveling across America in the grand Kerouac tradition, languishing for 2 weeks in the US postal system. A novella version is forthcoming, and we've already been offered licensing agreements with major television networks who are fascinated in how it could take so freakin long for three sheets of paper to travel less than 1000 km. {sarcasm}

Please update me: Received IV Bill: 09/06/2007

I'll be using a money order and shipping it overnight with delivery confirmation. After that...waiting.

Feb 4,2007 - I-130 accepted > Get USCIS case Number NOA1.

May 8 ,2007- GET NVC Case Number > NOA2.

June 16 ,2007- Get Order from NVC to pay 70$.

July 2 ,2007- Get DS-3032 in India.

July 7,2007 - DS-3032 choice of address agent entered in NVC.

July 14 ,2007- Get I-864.

July 18 ,2007- I-864 Enters NVC.

July 29 ,2007- Get Order to Pay 380$ fee.

Aug 3 ,2007- 380$ Fee Reached St Louis.

Aug 25,2007 - NVC & St Louis People receive photocopy of my payment with USPS receipt.

After WAITING for 37 days.

Sept 10,2007 - 380$ fee encashed.

Sept 24,2007 - Receive DS-230 in Mail.

Sept 25,2007 - DS-230 despatched.

Sept 26,2007- DS-230 Delivered.

Oct 1,2007 - NVC has DS-230.

Oct 12, 2007 - DS-230 Reviewed. Case Complete

Oct 16, 2007 - Case at Embassy.

Oct 25, 2007- Interview Letter Despatched from Embassy.

Nov 3, 2007 - Recieved Interview Letter.

Dec 1, 2007 - Medical Exam .

Jan 16 - I am in USA

April 15 2008 - Get my Drivers License.

I-751 Lifting Conditions at California Service Center

November 12, 2009 - I-751 Sent via USPS Express Mail

November 13, 2009 - Receipt of I-1751 Fee

November 20, 2009 - Arrested on Domestic Battery(Had argument with wife)

December 18, 2009 - Biometrics Completed at 9 am.

January 13, 2010 - Receive I-797E Notice for more evidence

February 16, 2010 - Mail reaches Californa Service Center( Next day of Preseidents Day)

February 19, 2010 - Card Production Ordered. Status now IR1

I know another VJ member with the same generation date of 8/20 that still has not received his IV Bill. :(

We are waiting for the IV bill too and although it has been generated august 20 it's not in the mail yet... hope I don't have to wait for an extra week!! It's ridiculous!!

A minor update. Note that I won't add people to this timeline unless they point out that they want to be on this timeline. Also the DS-230 date can still mean a number of things: it can mean DS-230 generated, DS-230 mailed from the NVC, DS-230 received or DS-230 sent back to NVC. I just go by the dates members provide me and use the earliest I can find unless specified. I also chose to remove two members from this timeline due to the fact that their dates are so unspecified and they don't affect the averages anymore that I don't see any use of keeping them in here. The list just gets cumbersome and long.

I suggest for those people using JSC for the DS230, rather state and go for the Generation Date. For those who were not, the actual received date (snail mail).

My wife's cr-1 was approved and she is here and has her 2 year permanent resident card. Now we are working on the 751 and have questions. Many things need to be added to the document asking for 10 year permanent resident application, 751.

Actually, no. You should ask someone on the Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion-board. No-one on the IR-1/CR-1 board can answer your questions, since we are all in the phase of obtaining our IR-1/CR-1 visas, not in the phase of removing their conditions (the I-751).

Finally got IV fee bill in the mail today 09/10/2007 :) and my wife is paying it and overnight mailing it back today. We got and RFE for the I-864 too in the mail today and she is sending back the requested docs with the checklist today too...

finally something moving there!
