I've been doing grocery pickup. They load everything in the back while I just sit and wait. Last week I got out to help, but they changed policy now they just want customers to stay in the car.

I do not think we do that. Well I have not seen it in Breck or Frisco.

Nobody there or is that just a stock photo? I've noticed produce is never out of stock with my order. I accidentally got 12 pounds of bananas instead of 12 bananas last week, and they gave me all of it.

I'm OK with going in and avoiding people, but I don't want to end up crammed in with everyone at the checkout like a bunch of sardines. I stopped at natural grocers last week. That's the only place that doesn't seem to run out of meat. Probably because it's so expensive. They were making people stay six feet apart at the checkout, but there was not many people there. Smaller stores it's easier to look at the number of cars outside and decide whether to go in or not.

King Soopers does pickup but they are booked about 7 days out around here.

Spooky, that looks so much like my local Vons. We're still doing in person shopping here, but they are strict about letting people in and out. You have to wait for admission six feet apart and then they let you in when there's few enough people. People are generally being good about giving each other sufficient space while shopping.

They made us wait six feet apart when checking out and were sanitizing the entire checkout every three people when I was there. They were super apologetic about the time it took but I just thanked them for being there, and for doing the sanitizing.

2pm this afternoon. A few more in City Market Breckenridge, sorry no photo. I do not think any of them up here do delivery? The King Soopers in Conifer I think did for a while but I think of that as greater Denver. There were two tills open in both plus the self check out, no wait.

But if you are down an aisle and somebody comes down it how do you let them pass?

I've noticed some different approaches. Natural grocers had a big plexiglass shield on the checkout line, and they said they were going to stop taking cash. They were not restricting anyone coming in though.

I actually like pickup. Saves a lot of time. I am really picky with fruit and vegetables so I was worried about it at first, but they seem to do OK so far.

My King Soopers card would not scan and the lady said probably due to all the cleaning they were doing. She was quite nice.

Maybe they can make them all "one way"? Then you just have to worry about passing.

One way would work, no overtaking.

I had to get a cable from Best Buy last week. I wanted it right away instead of waiting, so I found it in stock at a local store. I ordered it online, they sent me an email within about an hour saying it was ready for pickup. I had to drive to the store, wait in one of the designated bays, and then press a link in the email saying I was there. I was directed to a form that I filled in with info about my car and my name, and was directed to pop the trunk. I flashed my ID (I had to get out of the car to open the trunk because I have no idea how to open the trunk from the inside) and they put it in the trunk and shut it for me. All very quick and easy.

I had the same thing the first time. The regular door unlock switch doesn't unlock the hatch for some reason. My Key FOB does though.
