My wife needs to enter the US by May 30 th 2020 , immigrant visa approved in Dec 2019 , she was planning to come in May 17 th 2020 , due to Covid 19 , what happens now any help

Correct. I tired the same channel with no luck. At this point, her visa would need a re-validation after embassy opens.

I was to enter on IR5 visa before 29th march and my flight was booked for 17th night through UK which got cancelled on 15th March. So could not travel. Contacted the US consulate in Mumbai . They stated through email that the visa can be reissued once the consulate opens but the fees has be paid again.

But not sure whether they will reissue it as Trump has banned the parents as well.

I am exactly in your same situation. I got approved my immigrant visa and received it on Feb 26.

 

I was planning to travel to the USA by July, I had to sell my car (Visa expires on Aug 03, 2020).

 

Due to COVID the USA embassy is closed here in Colombia and I am not sure if there will be international flights by July...

 

I was suggested to send a formal request to the embassy, they are probably the most trustworthy source of information in this case.

 

I will ask my immigration lawyer and I will be sending that request soon. I will let you know as soon as I receive a reply.
