Good afternoon, so I filed my taxes and don’t know my ITIN number was expired and last year i didnt file my taxes so this year I had to file for last years taxes(single) and for this year (married) since I’m currently married. But they sent us our tax return and realized that they didn’t gave us the full amount and they didn’t give me what I was supposed to get back from last years income tax. Anyways I sent all the paperwork to get a new ITIN number and now they sent me a CP566 form asking for my Foreign address, but I have no clue what address I would use. I have been living here in the U.S. for   19 years now. Would it be the address of where I used to live in Mexico? Or what exactly does it mean? That is the only thing I need to send back to the IRS to get a new ITIN number , thanks a lot in advance for your help!!

Attached instructions and info.

If they asked you for a foreign address you must have ticked a box saying that you are an overseas alien when in fact you live in the United States.

When you renew, you must check the correct box.  Good luck
