Hi

My estimate for NOA2 approval from this website said April 30th - May 6th. I asked my fiancee to check the site last night and we got NOA2 approval March 26th. Should receive approval notice April 10th. What is the next step with the current situaton. I believe I can apply for my ACRO police certificate. But I lived in Canada for 2 years and 8 months and need to get a criminal record check for Canada but for that I need to get ink fingerprints taken in a UK Police station I don't think this is possible right now with lockdown. Obviously can't book any medicals or interviews yet. How long is NOA2 valid for 4 months? What can I get ready for the next step.

The four month expiration of your petition approval is not an issue. You will take a new letter of intent from your American fiancé to your interview In London. That’s it.

I suggest you sit tight, socially distance yourself, and don’t expect a visa anytime soon. It’s going to get much worse.

How long is an ACRO valid for I can at least apply for that right now? Social distance can be difficult as I work in an Aldi supermarket still awaiting the screens but are making everything pack away from tills. Best we can do for now.

At least thats good I feel for everyone who has had the visa approved and potentially will expire before this whole situation ends. They have to pay for another visa and medical I believe. So sad
