Hello, just checking in with everyone to get an update:  is the embassy closed and is anyone trying to schedule an interview?  Thank you.

Thanks for your response.   We have not yet scheduled the interview.  We already had to cancel it once, so we are waiting for a bit to see what the situation in Egypt will be at the end of this month.

My point is this:  We were scheduling an interview literally as the Embassy was closing dates off the calendar until July 1.  So, we scheduled the appointment for July 1.  I look at the calendar every day about rescheduling, and now they are scheduling for August, September, etc.  Our appointment for July 1 is still good.  I wouldn't wait to see what happens - schedule while you can!  Otherwise the wait will be substantially longer.

Where do you see the calendar for rescheduling?

You enter the beneficiaries email and password for the visa application/payment/delivery address/scheduling appointments.  Then to the left side, there are several options, one of them is reschedule appointment.  We are talking about Cairo Embassy, correct?

Is this website for K1 applicants only? Or also spouse applicants? Also, do you have any update on the appointment statuses now? Thanks

I don't believe it's just for K1 applicants.  They are scheduling September, October, November currently on the calendar.  Our appointment still shows scheduled for July 1.

Thanks, I have an expedited case but have not received word from the embassy yet. Should I go ahead and make an account here?

It was approved for expedite and I am awaiting the appt scheduling letter from the embassy. I just registered for the document delivery address as it seems it is for all applicants but CR1s can't pay fees or schedule there from what I could see. I hope interviews start back up soon.

OK.  Yes, our's is K1.  I haven't had a lot of luck with response from the Embassy.  We have called and spoken with people there but they don't have much information either.  They say to email them, but we always get automated replys.   I am going to keep my fingers crossed on our July 1 appt.  This situation is so terrible.....

Thanks so much. I hope we hear soon. I will keep you updated if I hear anything. It is a difficult time for everyone, especially families who are separated by such distance.
