Called the NVC today and they gave us our case/invoice numbers.  They said over the phone that all fiance visas are currently on hold since the embassies are not open for routine visa appointments.  E

I’ll be emailing NVC today, I had been discouraged from emailing them to update my email when i saw the website say they wouldn’t reply to inquiries, but reading through this forum looks like they’re being very kind about it all. 

@Greenbaum Do you have the P3 for France?

I have a question my case says at NVC when I check. Looking at the PDF since I recently got a case number would my case  be in transit with the next batch going out the second week in May or the batch going out this week? I haven’t tried the dhl tracking hack yet and I’m waiting like a day or two trying to follow the PDF.

You received your case number after the Wednesday before the shipping date so you will be on the first May shipment date. If you were "in transit" CEAC would confirm that with an updated status to "in transit". It's spelled out in the PDF.

If the appointment is past your NOA2 expiration date you must bring a letter requesting an extension from the petitioner on the day of the interview + updated letter of intent to marry from both of you.

 

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I called NVC and got my case and invoice ID number. I recommend that you call between 07:30 - 09:30 EST.

 

We also started the DS-160. 

 

 

@Greenbaum would you please forward the P3 for Cairo-Egypt if you have it? I appreciate your help and hard work.
