@Peach_ have you looked at the processing times for NVC? I attached the link below as of right now they are on cases from April 1. So I’m assuming if you are approved after that date (like me ) they haven’t gotten to it yet. I believe it changes weekly.

It says they are processing cases as of April 13th. Does that mean if mine was approved on April 7th they should have processed it already?

That means the date NVC received your case from USCIS. You may want to call NVC  for your case number since your case was approved on April 7th.

They just changed the date from April 1 to the 13th. So they might have just got it. I’m waiting two weeks and then I will call. I’m in no rush to stand to in line again for the embassy.

Yes Sir I call them plenty of times thru the process cause they approve my expedite request Dec  but did not get my NOA2 until April 12 so basically it took almost the same as if I did not expedite even with a congressmen .

Hopefully they get my file number soon I will contact you Thank you

Can you use a congressman to expedite your case after receiving NOA1?

How long did it take for your case to be approved after receiving your NOA1?

What of the nice features of VJ is both the embassy, the visa type and a timeline is included in the profile on the left side of the person to wish you want the added information from. In your case you are wanting to know when they received thier NOA1. Taping on the "timeline" link in thier timeline link would get you that answer.

No, a congressman cannot expedite your case. You would need to do it yourself and must meet their guidelines.

The details are in the "fine" print. Current case creation time frame: As of 27-APR-2020, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 13-APR-2020.

That were received. If your case has not arrived by that date you are not being processed. See below.

It takes normal travel time from USICS to NVC 30 days and then another week to two weeks to assign a case number. Their case wouldn't be there yet using this timeline calculator.

__________

You'll find an explanation on how this all works in the PDF file where I spell everything out, so you don't have to ask the question because it's all right there.
