We joined the April Filers!! 😃

I have not received the NOA1(paper), email or a text as yet but I did saw the "Pending" charge on my account. I am surprised, I did not get the email or text since I submitted the G-1145. However, I called and the Rep was kind enough to provide me with the Receipt number: Case was received.

Now time to follow those steps on the first page. :)

Hi, me and my fiancée sent our package into USCIS on April 21st. It should have been sooner but our lawyer wanted to complete the package themselves even though my fiancée did it. However, since this Covid 19 pandemic waiting is the name of the game. I hope that when the Montreal embassy opens up for interviews it will be safe to fly and the borders will be open. I’m handicapped and really want my fiancée to come to Canada and take the plane ride with me to Montreal for the medical and interview ( even though she can’t attend the actual interview) it would make it safer for me!

That maybe doable. Let's keep our fingers cross for this to happen. Stay engaged with the process.

"I just hope the process speeds up fast."

I hate to burst your bubble, but it is not going to be any faster and with the interview in Nigeria, it will be slower than others will experience with thier embassy. Stay the course and keep engaged with the process.
