Well, you don't know that you don't have it. Majority of us don't know actually. We could be asymptomatic carriers, and eventually many of us will probably become that.  There are just some really concerning stories now about getting 'reinfected' and this second wave being not survivable. Unclear how it's happening. And hey I don't think you're doing anything that's putting anyone intentionally at risk. My husband has to basically 'forage' for food at whatever store has barely anything left, needs to go to the post office (no it's not safe around these parts to leave mail in your box), and of course I needed to go to the lab. We're trying to go early during the 'old people and immuno compromised' hours so there is less people around. We've not tried hiking yet, because we've heard people are getting interrogated by cops with nothing better to do. And I've inquired to neighbor's well-being from a considerable distance away. My sister still has to work in a very risky environment, so there's risk to my parents every day. We are just going to fundamentally disagree on the economy and health risks here. clearly a lot of countries have approved emergency economy stimulus budgets last year due to the flu and car accidents. surely everyone had missed that news.

 

where was my $1,200 handout last year? oh wait Gov had the longest shutdown in modern US history last year. no wonder i missed my $1.2k handouts. 

 

though this sudden handouts , or free stuff, by the government, does feel like... what's the typical Boogeyman used for this kind of handouts? 🤔

 

staying on topic, who can say how much would anyone infected by the virus would have to pay out of pocket due to the awesome healthcare system US has, which clearly is far superior than the universal healthcare that Italy has? i do know one extreme news where one had to pay $30k++ but that could be the extreme amount. 

 

regardless, one compare the average "out of pockets" that Italians has to pay, especially those who are in between jobs, or just got laid off, or unemployed but not qualified for any assistance. maybe we can see why Citizens of Italy would still be totally fine due to the universal healthcare

Nah, this could be "Totally Dumb S something something" that the "Manipulated Americans Gullible A something something" kept chanting about. I trust what the dear leader had been saying since January up to early March. This is their new hoax!

 

It was just one Chinese tourist, and like miracle, it will disappear, maybe in April. The government could have saved some money by not passing that $2 trillion budget handouts on something that is no worse that the flu or car accidents. 

Our healthcare system is way better than Italy, clearly this shows Universal Healthcare is not gonna work here. Paying thousands of dollars out of pockets is so much better. Clearly we are entitled to make fun of Italy's healthcare system as it could not cope with something that is no worse than the flu or car accidents! Though i heard a lot of our fellow Americans are dying right now in NY and WA. I wonder why..

That was difficult for me. Have not had this feeling in the pit of my stomach since 9/11.

 

 

• Full lockdown for MD now. 1yr in jail and $5000 fine. We've had too many idiots having massive parties and goofing off.
• Most of a lockdown for DE. Workers coming in from the border towns need to be essential only.
• Our numbers continue to increase somewhat alarmingly. Starting to test slightly better with drive thru clinics, but still only reserving for those most sick.
• Both states have outbreaks in elderly facilities and in a high risk psychiatric facility.
• Some hospitals are putting out calls for donations. I'm trying to get in touch with the nursing colleges to see if they can assist.
• They shut the state parks so not hiking for me. I may start bouncing off the walls soon.
• UK still rising at alarming rate. They admitted they are not counting those they left to die at home or in nursing facilities.
• Shout out to doctors and pharmacists that are giving up their salaries so that their medical staff can continue working.
