I received this today:

USCIS Closing Offices to the Public - March 18 Until at Least April 1
03/18/2020

Dear Stakeholder,

Effective March 18, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is suspending routine in-person services at its field offices, asylum offices, and Application Support Centers (ASCs) to help slow the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This suspension of public service will be in effect until at least April 1.

We are sending you this notice because we have cancelled your upcoming appointment, interview, or ceremony. Please refer to the chart below for instructions on what, if anything, you need to do:

If you were scheduled for …

Then…

An InfoPass appointment

You must wait until your field office reopens to reschedule your appointment.  To reschedule please call the USCIS Contact Center.

A naturalization or Green Card interview

You don’t need to do anything. We will mail you a new interview notice when normal operations resume.

A biometrics appointment at an Application Support Center

You don’t need to do anything. We will mail you a new appointment notice when normal operations resume.

A naturalization oath ceremony

You don’t need to do anything. We will mail you a new oath ceremony notice when normal operations resume.

An emergency service such as advance parole

You need to call the USCIS Contact Center for immediate rescheduling.

Educating yourself and practicing good hygiene are the strongest tools against infection. Get the latest facts by visiting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) COVID-19 website

We will provide further updates as the situation develops and will continue to follow CDC guidance. Please visit uscis.gov/coronavirus and our office closure web page for updates.

Sincerely,

USCIS Contact Center
