NVC response; rejected I864 because of signature

Hi, my Kenyan wife and I received this message from NVC: Please sign and date this by hand in Part 8, Lines 6.a. and 6.b., and replace this form.

 

I understand the signature part- but wondering if you guys think 'replace this form' means anything more? Trying to make sure I don't miss something. I am in Kenya with COVID 19 and can't easily phone NVC unless I must.

Coincedently I got same for AOS form. You had to printout form and signed by hand including date..

I received this same notification!  I, unfortunately, could not open my messages and simply read the "Response Note."

It said to "Sign by hand name and date."

 

Have you heard anything back since re-submitting?

Yes. I resubmitted (entire doc,signed the sections by hand this time) and heard back within hours! Approved.

Wow, that's fantastic!!! Congrats.  Did you call them up or anything like that to speed it along?

Not at all. My assumption is that it is Covid 19 related? Maybe they have less immigration files to process,with many other non family processes stopped?

My process has flown by, so I am assuming because of COVID.
