Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well.

My joint sponsor is a working stunt man. As anyone working in the entertainment industry you usually get tons (sometimes 20-30+) W2s and 1099s from different employers. Usually someone like him would say "I am self employed as a stunt man", but seeing that if you receive W2s it means you are technically employed, worries me and confuses me about Part 6. 1-4 on Form I-864. He receives mostly W2s and a few 1099s usually.

What would you suggest to select on form I-864? I would select "employed" to avoid confusion and them looking for a self employment letter or something. But listing his 20+ employers of last year seems wrong as well.

Thank you very much for your help!

His current job and status is the one that matters and what is asked for.

If you are an actor/stunt man etc. your employer changes almost every week so I would not know how to answer that aside that his job is "stunt man".

Did occur to me that he may not be an obvious joint sponsor.. Would be whatever his job is when he signs and dates the form.
