Hello Everyone,

We will file for ROC in April, and would like to start working on our package, was wondering what is the best way to put the package together?

Like what sort file should we get? We just wanna make it easy for the immigration Officer easy to go through it.

Also so far the available form edition is 12/02/2019 is this the one to use?

TIA

Here is what I used and my petition was accepted recently, hope this helps! I got it at Walmart. No staples, just paper clips and binder clips to hold all the docs together.

Just some additional info:

USCIS compiles your papers using ACCO binders.  These require a two-hole punch, punching the holes in the TOPS of your documents, and using either a folder with pre-mounted ACCO clips or individual ACCO clips (which we used)  - easily available at your local Staples or office supply store.  They want SINGLE-SIDED only.

The OP asked how the papers could be presented in a way that is EASIEST for the officer to handle.  The link I posted before tells you EXACTLY what they want.  While they will accept all sorts of different folders/clips/rubber bands etc., they do specify what they would prefer.    If you two-hole punch and ACCO clip your documents together there is a much lower chance of documents "getting lost".

Please do read the link, which comes directly from USCIS, and if you are looking to make your journey the easiest for the person handling your file, follow their guidelines.

It's the second one they want.  Two-hole punch your documents at the top, and use that two-part metal thing to bind them together!

Best of luck with your next step!

I am correct in saying that when filing RoC you should never send originals but always send photocopies and keep the originals for an interview?

Additionally, when removing conditions based on marriage are people still being called for interviews or if you have enough supporting evidence is this then waived?

Are USCIS still mailing extension letters to GC holders and what is the turn around time of receiving this?
