USCIS field offices are closed.

As of right now, the service centers are not closed. Although CSC is in an area where many workers are likely in lockdown or shelter in place orders, so I would not be surprised if they are running at minimal processing capacity.

The current global pandemic is an unprecedented situation, so there is no way to predict how it will affect processing times.  Note:  even without such an event, processing times fluctuate quite a bit over time.  In 2018, I-129f petitions were taking 6-8 months to be approved.  Last year, the processing time was closer to 3-4 months.  Going forward, it's anyone's guess.  Hang in there.

USCIS Service Centers (who don’t deal with the public face to face) do have a telecommute system do that employees can work from home. It is safe to assume that not all employees will be able to work from home due to their living situation but petitions will still be processed.

I hope they aren't processing anything until things open back up. If ours got approved then we wouldn't be able to do the medical or go in for an interview or even go across the border right now.

But your situation isn’t everyone’s situation, some people can still continue with the process.

Definitely! According to what I've seen so far it seems the embassies aren't doing interviews right now and also the borders are shut off to most countries. I would love to continue with the process.

I received my receipt letter NOA 1, for the K1 visa application 2 weeks ago but now i'm hearing that the USCIS offices are close. Is USCIS still processing applications for K1, even though offices are close?? Mine is getting process at the california office.

Cases are still being process is the embassy that is close and anything that has to do with face to face is not bring done (interviews) etc plus the travel ban 😔
