Thats what i was going to say, we too are delayed I haven't called since the last time the person i spoke to was rude plus i guess at this time they can only do what they can. Our EAD AP and Change of status were all logged in Nov, Bio-metrics Dec since then very little movement.

Our predicted dates have moved up by at least a week and we should have had it by the end of the month but i guess the algorithm for this will be out now as were in a situation which cant be measured.

Heres hoping that we get it all soon

I'm English...born and raised in Britain, as were my parents, grandparents,  great grandparents etc...and I've always referred to Britain as being part of Europe and myself as European...cause it is and I am...

Two sides of a coin here.

I too am English, born and raised, as were my parents, grandparents,  great grandparents, I have never referred to myself as European or seen myself as European.

So which continent do you identify as coming from?

Expand

Not sure if I have to identify what continent I come from and why should I. Not sure of the relevance.

My country of birth is England - I am English. Whatever state that country is in, I am very proud of everything the country holds true, both right and wrong. Being "European" had no ties, it's a land mass, not a country.

If I was born in Canada would you expect me to call myself North American? Prob. not

Of course, same as if you were born in Mexico.

So when you studied geography, you didn't include Britain when talking about Europe?

I will never understand why people are proud of the country they were born in. It's not like they had a say in it. I'm personally only proud of things I have personally achieved but I digress. Apparently nationalism is growing worldwide.

I will never understand how people cannot separate geography and locality.

Can I ask what make you think nationalism ever went away unless you think it was politically correct to think so? It never has. People may kid themselves but take a look at every WorldCup, Olympics etc. Locality matters. Do you find that wrong?

I am also proud of what I have personally achieved, however, I also have respect for what my parents, grandparents and other from my country have achieved. Whatever people try to portray. Our country is still a great country, has a huge amount to give to the global family fo the better. We do not have to be "part" of a larger mass to achieve that.

My view our individuality is what make peoples so valuable in the big melting pot - Don't chip away at that.

We've been calling in weekly and at first they told us that they only had 3 people working in the office and they're only handling 10 cases per person so it could be April 1st before they got to our case. That was last Thursday. Today we called and we were told that they're shut down and it could be 50 days but probably longer.

Some things are just out of your control. Immigration waiting times is one of them. I am stuck in colombia right now, I also have a job waiting for me. Thanks coronavirus.

I agree with you. I'm from Europe myself and we never call English/British people European people. Just my personal experience.
