Can't expedite F2A case - you'll get it when the PD is current. And since the country of beneficiary is Pakistan, highly unlikely any expedites will go through as you can expect a long AP.

Which PD?

But the embassies are not issuing visas due to COVID-19. If they're not interviewing anyone, how do you expect to get a visa expedited? And you're forgetting about long AP for Pakistani nationals.

The time to request an expedite would have been when the case arrived at the NVC.

Not missing a birthday isn't a reason to expedite.   The costs of maintaining two separate households can be, although pretty weak for ISL.

Well all the documents have been submitted, fees has been paid.

Why hasn’t your spouse visited you for your last 4 birthdays? That seems like it would have been the most logical and easier thing to do,  no? Rather than rely on the US government to bring you together for your birthday.

Cant disclose the reasons. Its a private thing.

No harm in requesting an expedite.

No valid reason for approving one has been provided.

They are not currently scheduling interviews, so a response to an expedited appointment is not likely to occur until that changes. There wlll also be a backlog of cases once it resumes.

AP cannot be expedited. No way to know if extended AP will be part of your case processing or not until after the interview.

May 2020 seems unlikely.

Immigration is a very sensitive topic for most here but in the scheme of things it is just a very small blip on the radar for the Federal Government right now.

Finally done...

This is NOT a valid reason to expedite. There are many couples who have missed milestone events.
