I got approved on March 19th, 2020, then yesterday, we got the welcome letter to the NVC, a whole 4 days after. We also received the bill and the way to log in. We were not expecting this at all, financially, this has put us back a bit and we had a trip planned in May.

So say, we upload all the documents, pay the bill. How long will it take for them to documentarily qualify it, approve it, give us our interview date, etc etc, basically, when do you think our case would be done by if we had all that sorted now?

Cause like I said, trip planned in May. I'm saying July it will be done, but I'm being cautious, this whole thing has been slow until now.

No interviews are being scheduled so you can do everything up to that point and then simply wait until they reopen the consulates

YMMV

I wouldn’t hold my breath that either of those things will happen.

It takes usually 6 to 8 weeks for NVC to review your documents (and get DQ). Then how long to receive an interview date depends on your country. You can check here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1xbLl_8yDgHLeDaLnTrPdYc44J0sjPSFfYCKxlKx6uTY/htmlview#gid=0

but that was before Coronavirus, so now with all interviews cancelled who knows how long it will take now 😕
