Did you request an inquiry or did the consulate call you with an appointment? My USCIS case was approved for expedite purposes, but I don’t know what steps to take from here

If USCIS approved and completed the expedite it would have been sent to the NVC, where you need to request an expedite there too.

What Paul & Mary said, you would have to request for expedited at NVC again. I requested for expedite while being at NVC

When I had my expedite it wasn't for NVC, which meant I just got to pick my interview as soon as NVC was done with it without waiting for the consulate.

How were you guys able to get expedite?

Hi Paul,

Do you know if the NVC expedite can only be requested after filing the DS-260 and I-864 and uploading all the civil documents? We just paid the fees and we are about to start working on the forms but we would like to know if we can request the expedite now or not.

Thanks in advance!

NVC will request you to submit all documents if you file for expedited before, I recommend you pay all fees and upload all documents and then request for expedited that way they have everything on hand and there is no delays after. That’s how I did it 🙂

Makes sense! Thank you so much for your quick reply. We will complete the forms and upload the files and then we will try to request the expedite.
