Yes, there have been many persons tested without symptoms, provided they are so-called VIPs. And it's certainly proven that asymptomatic persons are carriers. Meanwhile, we still have a shortage of tests... 

 

Again the more people you test, both symptomatic and asymptomatic the more you will find and be able to isolate. The reason for not testing is rationing so we have to prioritize who gets a test and who doesn't unless you have 'clout'. One local doctor that managed to set up a drive-thru clinic, had never seen so many patients thankful that they just had the flu, but stressed that didn't negate their risk for now. I think MD can only run 500 tests a week unless you can find a doctor that can order one and send it via Labcorp..

Yep.  I just discovered that a case has popped up in my small home town( population of 6000 people) in southern Arkansas.....

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

  Athletes and celebrities don't follow the same criteria as regular people. The doctors will order the test and find a way to get it done. Usually they pay a private lab or facility. It does show how many people are positive without any symptoms.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
