Hey guys. My sis was issued a Cr1 visa after almost 5 months in Administrative Processing so she has only 30 days untill her visa expires. What happens if she can’t enter the US with in expiry date due to all the restrictions by counties and airlines? Will she have to apply the visa again? I mean the whole process? Please tell me anyone experience anything like this?

She will definitely need to apply for a new visa but not the whole process again. I guess once it comes back to normal, she can contact the embassy regarding the interview. She can in fact contact the embassy now to inquire about it. I guess she will need new medical and/or new police certificate if expired.

We were given ours on time it expires in 4 more months...

Don't mean to thread jack just to arken ..

If we need to apply for new visa does the same go for anyone... Not needing to go threw the whole process .....

I'm sure we can get her here but just curious.

A k1 might be problematic for reissuance.  Have to wait and see what they decide to do.

YMMV

I just got my visa and have almost six months, I'm panicking now but that's because my husband is making me more anxious. I hope you get sorted!

It's a serious situation so I'm not minimising it, but I doubt it will last that long. Even some of the worst case scenario predictions I'm seeing are talking about things starting to go back to normal in July.

Yes I'm hopeful of that. I have a flight booked 2nd May, I'm just taking it a day at a time for now :)

oh i'm sorry. this is so hard.  we're hoping to get my husband's extended but not sure how long that might take.  good luck I hope it works out

They cannot be extended....all you can do is prove the reason that u could not use the visa and have to do medical all over and get one re issued.
