not sure if this counts but switching from IR1 to AOS..

were at NVC stage, flew in as usual to see hubby with intent to go home for interview etc right before everything went crazy... wound up losing my job back home due to lay offs and now under stay home orders in NOLA.. flights home are limited not to mention increased risks of catching the virus during long haul..

no real choice now but to switch to AOS while I’m here and no option on timeline for those stuck in USA at this time

So far around 62% of VJ'ers are seeing an impact.  Here are the places everyone is delayed at:

No impact probably means people are at the USCIS petition phase which is proceeding normally right now.  USCIS is still open in the background.

There will probably be zero progress on the i-751 since you already filed for N-400. It seems as if the i-751 is "put on hold" as soon as you file the N-400, so you get an interview for both at the same time. Many people's online statuses for the i-751 also show that the i-751 is transferred to the local field office a day or two after filing the N-400.

My 10 year ROC green card processing was not put on hold after applying for citizenship this October, 2019. See timeline.

We got no notification/indication that our ROC package was transferred locally (though it was, as it was on the IO's desk when I went to the citizenship interview).

Filed for citizenship, N-400, with removal of conditions still pending, I-751, and got the 10 Year green card a month after filing the N-400, with no ROC interview (and with no combo interview).

So, it could/can/did happen.

Don't know how COVID-19 affects things at this point, though. Could make it more or less likely you get no interview. But could be slower because of possible partial shutdowns.

Sorry about that.

We know how waiting is a pain.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

Yep, many of us are in the middle of the ROC process, and most ROC cases don't get an interview, so those cases should still be processed. Those who will have an interview could/will be affected, and also in a smaller way those who can't have their biometrics taken right now are affected too. Other than that ROC is probably the easier process of most immigration processes right now, I bet.

Hopefully the parts of USCIS that are still functioning have as many employees as normal, so at least those cases will move forward like normal. Who knows how many are sick or home with their kids etc in times like these.

I applied for I751 in August 2019, my case is at California Service Center. After 7 months of waiting I was finally got a notification this week notifying that I had an appointment to get biometrics done at my local office for Tuesday 24th. I was sent an email two days after getting my notification explaining that the offices are closed and that my interview will be “rescheduled”.

Same situation! Visa will expire soon and my Dad can’t fly.

When a visa is issued, Embassy gives you six months to fly. Any delay after issuance is assumed to be yours that you may have to pay for a new visa/medical. You may want to avoid this by traveling at the earliest opportunity

USCIS ALERT: To help slow the spread of the coronavirus, USCIS has closed all offices and cancelled all appointments thru April 1. Check USCIS.gov for updates.

I'm not sure if this helps at all since we're in different stages of the immigration process, but my receipt number didn't show up in the system for around 6 months. Every time I would type it, it would say invalid number. Did an actual person tell you they don't have a N400 in your name or the automated system? I know it's extremely stressful and frustrating, but you received a I-797 notice which I think you'd only get when/if they received your application? Hang in there!
