Couple of queries regarding filing Adjustment of Status

Hi all,

 

I filed I-129f (K1 Fiance Visa) to bring my fiance to USA. She arrived a few weeks ago and we got married recently. Now I am filing for her green card, travel document, and work permit. I had couple of queries which I wanted to clear. All help will be appreciated.

 

-I am sending 485, 765, 131 all together. I just pay fee for 485, right? Which is currently 1225$. 

-Along with above forms, I have to submit 944 and 864?

-She did her vaccinations in her home country in October end. Does that mean I don't have to send form 693? She was given a sealed envelope (I believe there is a medical CD inside). Does she take that straight at her interview?

-In form 485, item 61 (Are you exempt from the public charge ground of inadmissibility?). Answer should be "no", right?

-In form 485, item 62 (I am EXEMPT from filing Form I-864 because:) No box should be checked, correct?

-In form 765, item 27 (Eligibility Category). Should it be (a)(6) or (c)(9)?

-In form 944, item 11 (Do you have a U.S. credit report?). Answer is no as she has just arrived, but what proof should I provide?

• No additional fee for the I-131, I-765, I-864, I-944, etc. So The I-485 + biometrics only, which is $1225 here.
• Yes. Those are required documents with an I-485 here.
• No new medical is needed or transcription of the vaccinations if marked complete already. If you have a copy of the DS-3025, send a copy. But they should have it on file already.
• No, she is not.*
  • (it's technically possible she is, but this a very specific set of circumstances like having 40+ SS credits of work already)
• Correct, since 61 is No
• (c)(9)
  • (a)(6) would only for an EAD valid until the original 90 days form POE expired, and is not free. And it generally takes more than 90 days to obtain anyway.
• She should check first. Include evidence of attempting to obtain one.
  • That said, this is a new form and it's not entirely sure what they want to see here. The question is more aimed at people who have been living in the US already, not somebody newly arriving.

Don't forget to have her apply for a social security card ASAP.

Do you still have the sealed envelope with you? She should have handed that over to CBP.

I'm also going to file soon and I was wondering how can one obtain a credit score report (even saying that you don't have one, which they still want you to show them proof of) without having a SSN. Maybe we should try to call Experian or one of those agencies?

They took 1 envelope. I have CD in sealed envelope. I guess it's for doctor who will complete 693 here.

I am just including letter explaining she has just come to USA and doesn't have SSN or credit report. Hopefully they will understand it. Same for health insurance as I am applying for SSN along with this application and without SSN, she can't get health insurance.
