Documents for joint sponsor

I had to require another sponsor besides my husband, since we are now in the middle of the tax season my question is.

The documents I would send in from the other sponsor would be the 2019 W2, Form 2555 and 1099 would not apply to her, tax transcripts from 2017 and 2018, because 2019 is not available yet would that be enough for USCIS? Or would I have to send in a W2 from 2018, 2017 as well?

Thanks.

Please complete your timeline so we know what immigrations process you are undertaking

As the filing date for 2019 is not yet passed, the “most recent “ tax year for transcripts will be 2018 .. so your joint sponsor should provide the 2018 transcript and current income evidence as listed on the I864. Depending on when and where the interview occurs , you may be requested to take the 2019 documentation to the interview

What exactly mean income evidence listed on the I864? Would that be the W2 ?

Current income evidence is pay slips from the past 6 months , employment letter from employer indicating annual pay etc , 2019 W 2 may help as it is less than 3 months old

yes Tax transcript for 2018
