My wife has already obtained her conditional green card, interview was on 3/10 and was approved and she now has her conditional green card in hand.

Today in the mail she got a I-131 - AP notice, it exactly says:

"U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services ha received your form and is currently processing your application , petition, or request.  This notice informs you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics.  USCIS will run the same security checks and use your biometric data as in the past, however, it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS Application Support Center for a biometrics appointment.  The biometrics fee will not be refunded.

USCIS is continuing to process your application, petition, or request.  USCIS will contact you in writing if any additional information is necessary to resolve your case.

This notice is not an approval of your pending application, petition, or request"

What exactly is this?  My wife already has her Conditional Green Card, and has already received her EAD/AP combo card.

Edit:  Whoops just noticed was typing it too fast in the title misspelled Random* 😂

Disregard the notices.  Her Green Card negates EAD and/or AP applications.  Her Green Card fully authorizes work and re-entry into the US.

I was just wanting to make sure that their system wasn't messed up and had an application that we never sent in because her AP has already been approved, and she has her Conditional Green Card.  Wasn't exactly sure what this was, why they even doing anything with AP if she has her CGC?

Different processes for Green Cards and AP/EAD.......Bottom line is that the Green Card trumps the others.......

Why do they even still have processes going on for her AP if she has her Green Card?

you just summed up the shenanigans of immigration process in 1 sentence 😅

But yeah we were just worried that somehow she has had a brand new I-131 application started when there was never one submitted again, but if this notice doesn't mean anything than thats awesome.

We also checked her case status on the USCIS site and it says this:

Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken

Correct.

I131 statuses never updated at all until a few weeks ago when there waa a glitch where a few updated to this. The status update initiated an autosend of letters to all who received the status update.

Disregard.

Would this notice need to be taken to the I-751 interview if its something we disregard?

Oh don’t worry. The system is messed up !! Right hand doesnt know what the left is doing !! They’ll sort it out amongst themselves eventually !

What is your reasoning for that?

no I was asking as I am not certain if it will need to be taken to ROC interview, I'm not certain if it counts as a piece of the immigration journey, for the AOS interview had to take everything ever mailed to us from USCIS on immigration journey, so just within same reasoning not sure if need to take that since its from USCIS, so that's why I am asking.

That's very optimistic, its our duty as the people going through the immigration process to duck and weave through the immigration maze and make it out on the other side 😅

Yep. Wait til you get an update email randomly appearing in about 12 months telling you that your GC is being produced. Someone’s software hiccuped ! 🤣

omg lol, would make me laugh, so I am assuming amongst all of this that anything from USCIS regarding AP/EAD wouldn't be needed at the ROC interview as it would just be a hiccup in the system, and the next "proper" piece of paperwork from USCIS should be NOA1 for ROC.
