Income tax return

I filed citizenship last September 21,2019. In the pocket I sent through online I did not include my income tax return because it said in the instruction that tax return could present during interview. I called USCIS and do the follow up. They informed that processing time normally in between six and half to 11 and half months. Now maybe longer because of corona virus. They also informed me that they are processing April 9, 2019. This was a week after I follow up. No I am wondering if I can send my tax return since all my files was sent online. The reason I didn't not send it because it is a lot of papers. Because it will cover my 7 years ITR paper works. I read from K1-visa and spousal that they are accepting Transcript. I am wondering if anybody in here just send the transcript instead the whole ITR papers. And can I send it as additional or should I need to wait until they ask me if they needed it. I am a little confused of what to do. Thanks

Just wait for the interview notification.

In the mean time, get the IRS transcripts online. The tax transcripts from the last 4 years will be available online but the one from 5 years ago will be mailed to you.  Set up an IRS acct so you can do all of these online.

 

Bring these transcripts to the interview. The IO might not even ask for them though.
