Heartburn medicine never really did much for me, but digestive enzymes did. They do say some people do get symptoms from not producing enough digestive enzymes, or sometimes are deficient in a specific one, but most people can't/don't do the tests to find out what the specific cause is. It's not always acid though.

My wife has been craming  apple cider gummies down my throat. No idea what its supposed to do

We actually weren't buying them, I was just taking him on a tour of the Costco health and beauty selection.

Conversely, when I am over in the UK, I stock up on paracetamol with codeine because that's the good stuff and you can't get it OTC over here. I came back with four boxes in October which will set me up for a while. I don't always reach for it, but when I need it, I need it and I don't want to go to my doctor to have to ask for it.

Same thing as acetaminophen.

Yep, I never understood it really myself. Totally okay to buy that stuff there, but I remember getting carded and having my bags inspected when I went to buy his mom a set a kitchen utensils with knives.

Drugs good. Knives bad. They also have weird things about allergy meds.

Quote

A 45-year-old woman with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) said she received an online message from her health care provider stating it will no longer refill her vital hydroxychloroquine prescriptions because that drug is being used to treat the "critically ill with COVID-19," the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. The letter thanked her for her "sacrifice." {..}

In a statement provided to BuzzFeed News, Kaiser Permanente confirmed that it was no longer filling routine prescriptions for chloroquine.

"As we face the real possibility of running out of the drug for everybody if we don’t take steps to mitigate the shortage, Kaiser Permanente, like other health care organizations across the country, has had to take steps to control the outflow of the medication to ensure access to severely sick patients, including both COVID-19 and those with acute lupus," said Nancy Gin, regional medical director of Quality and Clinical Analysis at Kaiser Permanente, Southern California, which has 4.6 million members.

Makes me hoppin' mad! I'm pretty sure the poor woman has to go through the unending process of prior authorizations and higher tier copays with Kaiser just to get her medication. There's going to be a big problem when this starts happening with azithromycin.

It's correct. Kaiser confirmed it.

Pretty silly, eh?  If you read VJ, there are those who will tell you these drugs don't work on covid.

Syphilis

We'd narrowed it down to either the Clap or the Syph, gracias man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

my doctor prescribed azithromycin for me as well as albuterol and said to take the azithromycin with mucinex to help with the breathing. i cant say its doing any good. the benzonatate seems to help with the harsh coughing though, so at least now i dont feel like i have a bunch of fiberglass in my throat all the time. doctor said to call if i dont improve or it gets worse and said do NOT take ibuprofin for chills, take tylenol instead.

i do sort of feel like now i have stuff sort of in my lungs sort of like water because i have this sort of rumble when i breathe a little bit. we shall see what happens in a few days. hopefully i will be able to do more than just walk to the couch and back and maybe even go outside for a walk without wanting to just collapse.

RoC sent 10/30/21

NOA 11/16/21

Check Cashed 11/18/21

Are you taking Mucinex D?  I have read it is the thing to buy before one gets sick, according to my doctor.
