Just like the title says -

When I got my initial email saying "as of right now visa appointments are cancelled" I sent an enquiry, who got back to me telling me to log into my Visa Services account to confirm whether it had been cancelled.

I did this and it says "current status - attend appointment"

Does anyone have any idea or knowledge on what I should do? I was meant to have my medical on Monday and I cancelled it after I got the first emails so I need to re-book tomorrow. If i do that though and then it turns out my Visa Appointment IS cancelled after all then I lose 95GBP

I should add that this is the US Embassy in the UK

You could email them to confirm.  Can you see the date the website was updated and compare that to the date of your email.  Generally, the latest communication is the most accurate.
