My wife had her interview for adjustment of status. She was told everything was ok but she had to wait for the completion of FBI background check. She had her interview April 19th, 2007. How long will she have to wait for the GC. She also had to go home on an I-131 advance parole because her mother was terminally Ill. Will this delay the GC process?

No set timeline. Anywhere from 2 weeks after approved interview to ?????? Obviously it isn't 2 weeks for her.

To many variables. From similiar name hits, Biometric putting wrong info into system, to USCIS computer break downs as was the case with us.

If you can call the office she had the interview at or do Infopass.

They told us we'd get the GC in 2 weeks at the interview,

I called after 3 weeks and no GC and they had everything messed up!

Had to do Biometrics 3 times before they corrected the paperwork and got GC 2 weeks after "final" Biometrics!
