How long to get NBI Clearance appointment?

Hi all,

I'm the US Citizen spouse petitioning my wife in the Philippines for her IR-1 visa. I'm currently preparing to get her an appointment for her NBI Clearance to send to the NVC

Does anyone know how long people are typically waiting to get an appointment by registering online? My wife is near Tacloban in Leyte.

Also are they canceling NBI processing because of the virus? Thanks a lot!

Not sure if services have be slowed/stopped or otherwise.   Under normal circumstances your wife will hand carry the NBI to the interview (even if uploaded to CEAC earlier)

NBI :
Application can be done online.  https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph/

From the NBI webpage:  "The NBI Clearance Processing will strictly implement the "NO APPOINTMENT NO ENTRY" POLICY for NBI clearance applicants. No appointment will be available on the same day of application.  All NBI Clearance applicants are advised to register online and have their appointment date set in advance.  Please be guided accordingly."

List of NBI offices:   http://www.officialgazette.gov.ph/services/nbi-clearance/

DON'T FORGET - For the NBI if you have used more than one name - complete the AKA for ALL names used !!
(married name, maiden name, change of name)
