I believe that Egypt does do drug testing. I remember reading a post by a *Michael* from Egypt who tested positive for cannabis a few months back.

I wonder why some countries do drug testing and some don't. Jordan does, what about the other countries in MENA?

I assumed they all did but I don't think Egypt does. They never even asked him any questions about it which I thought was pretty standard. Not that we'd have to worry but still interesting.

Yeah I remember him too!!!! lol. I think he still got the visa though 'cause he was posting about his AOS experience a while back. Guess he must have known someone to make that happen or something.

Anyways he said he can pick it up this Sunday so we'll FINALLY be able to send in the pkt 3 then. whoop-dee-whoop!! :dance::dance:

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

one more question before I go to bed...should he ask for a duplicate copy when he picks it up so he'll have it for AOS purposes?

Maybe someone has already addressed this, but when they give him the visa, they will give a sealed envelope with the medical and other papers inside that he carries on the plane with him. The agents at the POE will take the contents of the envelope, open it there and forward it on to USCIS so they have it when you file for AOS. You only need a copy of the vaccination supplement for filing AOS because you take the supplement to a Civil Surgeon here to get the correct for filled out based on the vaccination record.

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.
