Sorry for all these little posts but no worries...soon we'll be in AP and I'll have nothing to talk about. hahahaha

Anyhoo.....how long does it take to get the medical exam results? I'm too impatient to wait for my husband to wake up to tell me....and I have a feeling he won't wake till tomorrow since he stayed up all night 'cause he was afraid he'd sleep through the medical. lol

12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

After my fiance had his medical exam he got his results back in 1 week but i am sure there are some people who get them sooner maybe! You guys are on a roll keep it up!!

10/17/2006--Cairo sent packet 3 for the second time to my fiance. First one was never recieved.

12/20/2006--Packet 3 sent.

12/21/2006--Cairo Embassy recieved packet 3.

2/21/2007---Packet 4 recieved.

3/12/2007---Interview (He Passed)!

3/12/2007---Administrative Processing begins.............God please help me get through this!

7/17/2007---Our 2 Year Anniversay!!!

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!

I think the fastest is one week because of the blood test results or something that take a few days to be complete...

6/23/06- Engagement Party in Egypt

7/19/06- NOA1

10/02/06- RFE email

10/07/06- RFE received (birth certificate)

10/11/06- CSC received RFE

10/24/06- APPROVED!

10/28/06- NOA2 in mail

11/08/06- Left NVC

11/09/06- Petition arrived at Cairo Embassy

11/23/06 - Packet 3 received!!!

12/05/06- Sent in Packet 3

12/14/06- Went to Egypt

1/17/07- Came back :(

Wow I thought it was like two days or something. Oh well. He went to this place that someone else had gone to:

I think there were only a few on the list that the embassy accepts medicals from.

Ok then a week it is!!! At least this is something I can't control so I can just relax...and so can my husband. :lol::lol:

BTW I didn't talk to him tonight but when I did this morning he said it was wicked easy.

I know I've asked before but what is the blood test for? Aids? And do they mail it to him or does he pick the results and the xrays up himself? (sorry I know I can just ask him tomorrow but I have this "need to know" syndrome)

I actually asked what the blood test was for too, and I'm not sure if he knew for sure but ahmed said aids also but who knows...

They don't mail them, he goes back to pick them up. He can call before going just to be sure it's ready for him when he gets there.

I wonder why some countries do drug testing and some don't. Jordan does, what about the other countries in MENA?

I assumed they all did but I don't think Egypt does. They never even asked him any questions about it which I thought was pretty standard. Not that we'd have to worry but still interesting.

I think it depends on the doctor and how fast they can get your test results back, but at most it takes like a week and a half.

3/20/07: Mailed I765/485/130 To chicago

3/29/07: NOA For all three

4/9/07: RFE (medical) grrrr!

4/9/07: Interview date notification. (7/27/07)

5/20/07: Sent out rfe response.

6/5/07: RFE response received by NBC.

6/7/07: EAD card production ordered.

6/10/07: AOS and EAD touched?

6/12/07: EAD card production ordered again!!!

6/13/07: EAD touched again

6/16/07: EAD card notice: approval sent,,,

6/18/07: EAD touched again....

6/18/07: Received EAD card in the mail!

7/27/07: Interview day, everything went well except the fact that the doctor made an error on the forms- RFE.

No touches after interview,,,, strange.

8/22/07: Card production ordered.

8/27: Welcome notice received.

8/31: i485 approval notice sent.

9/4: GCard received.

Thanks. I've heard conflicting stories on whether or not they will allow you to make a copy. I'm pretty sure it will be sealed due to what others have stated. He got two shots so we'd like to have a copy of proof of that so that he doesn't have to go through that again. I don't think he liked it much, but then men can be big babies when it comes to that stuff. :whistle:

My husband got his vaccination record only. From what I understand, the medical will be in the sealed envelope that will be forwarded to the appropriate USCIS location so you don't need a copy of the medical. It wouldn't hurt to ask for a copy just to be on the safe side though.

ETA...it took about a week for my husband to get his medical results (like others who have responded).
