All appointments cancelled as of 3/19/20

We just got the e-mail all appointments in Vietnam have been cancelled as of 3/19/20. This sucks

Same here and our appt was suppose to be on the 19th. Not sure how all this will affect other time limits like the I-129. Will do some digging and report back here. Plz let me know if you find anything.

We are doing k1, and we are waiting for NVC to mail our petition to HCMC. 

 

so does this mean NVC wont send our petition?????

This is what we all feared, that they would either slow down on their reviews, the processing of cases or postpone  interviews.

This is likely to cause backlogs and delays.

 

I will admit we are a little stressed and disappointed, but it is what it is....  we just have to hold on to hope that it will pass quickly.

I want to encourage those of you also waiting on your case probe processed.

Had appointment on the 23rd, very disappointed. Had to email to get P3 letter from them 4 weeks after NVC sent case to consulate, was denied 1 week after, never recieved P3 in the mail. Very annoying that made all the difference.

Its very depressing for everyone, we are still waiting for NVC also but HCMC has closed all bars, restaurants and hotels until April1st and some provinces have closed everything until May 1st. Also was announced today no entrance into the country for pretty much any country. AESEAN countries have a mandatory 14 day quarantine but all other countries, Visas have been canceled to enter, except for special circumstances.
