Should I go to green card interview being on probation

I’m on a 3 year probation for a non-drug related felony. This felony is not considered a deportable conviction. I don’t have any prior criminal record. I’m in a stable marriage with my husband who’s a US citizen. I have a green card interview that might come in a next month. Should I withdraw my petition and reapply when my probation is over? Or should I risk the interview? What if they send me to an immigration judge?

I understand that green card has been given to people on probation with DUI but that is a misdemeanor.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You make it sound like you are in the US, under what status?

Do you have a Lawyer?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Best bet would be to ask your Lawyer

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

What was the charge exactly? Also there are things that are deportable offenses and then things that make you inadmissible. You need to determine if your charge makes you inadmissible.

It was pursuant to People v West was Health and Safety Code sec. 25189.5 (b) - Unlawful disposal of hazardous waste
