k1 and the I129F with kids - documentation (petitioner)

This may have been covered previously but I was unable to locate much information either here or through a google search elsewhere.

Quick background sticking to the subject only; we both have kids. None together. Of course I mentioned all of them on the I129F but specifically as the petitioner has anyone had an legal advice or RFE for documentation in regards to the petitioner's kids? I have 2 from a divorce(same mom); 2 from previous relationships(neither married). I have or can get copies of birth certificates and any existing parenting agreements from the appropriate courts. But at the same time I don't want to swamp the reviewer with too much documentation. Again this is only in regards to the initial I129F application.

Any advice?

Your children are not listed on the I-129F.   All that is required for the I-129F is the beneficiary's children be listed ... NO documentation.

Hank,

First, thank you so much for the quick response.

In all fairness, part 1 item 48-49b, does ask for the ages of the petitioner’s children. Hence my uncertainty.

I am still hoping for a few responses from other petitioners that listed their children’s ages if they were ever asked for additional documentation during their process.

I’m sure there will be others in the future with the same question.

I added my fiance's children. Listed just their names, dates of birth and place of birth. No documents. I think fiance will present them at the interview or prior. I don't know.

No documentation is needed for the I-129F petition regarding children .. yours or your fiancee's .. nada, zip.      Read the instructions for the I-129F.

At the embassy phase they will want documentation for your fiancee's children only.

Here is a second opinion.
