I am in the same boat, my status was updated on April 28th, but my attorneys did not received any letter from AAO. Could you please let us know if you have any update from USCIS?

 Hi Sri1234

do you have any changes to your case status? Where did you see your status history and when did you see the status that your case was remanded?
“Appeal was remanded to the originating office for consideration"

Appeal was sustained meaning USCIS will approve the case for sure.

Appeal was remanded meaning USCIS will have to withdraw the denial but can issue RFE/approve or deny for some other reason.

Mine is remanded back to USCIS now.

Is there a way you could check your Appeal notice and confirm if possible?

Hi GBSR,

Any new updates.
how long did it take for the status to change from

“Case Was Relocated From Administrative Appeals Office To USCIS Originating Office”

to
“Appeal was remanded to the originating office for consideration".

my status changed to below as of July 7th.

Hi Raknah,

My status is still "Case was relocated from AAO..."

My attorney received a notice saying that the case has been remanded to USCIS on June 5th.

There's no update after that. As per my attorney, case can be denied or new rfe can be issued.

You should've got a notice from AAO. If that says your appeal is sustained, USCIS will approve your case.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info.
I have reached out to my attorney today asking for the details about the notice. No updates yet.

Did your uscis status change on June 5th and your attorney got Notified via mail on June 5th as well? I know I am missing something. Could you please clarify.  Thanks once again.

It took around 4-5 days to get the notice after status change on June 5th.

Thanks once again for the update.

I just realized I can check the case history on my.uscis website based on sri1234 comments.

So I checked my.uscis.gov website and I see the below status “Appeal was Approved” for the I-290B Notice of Appeal or Motion.

I am hoping it means the case was approved but still waiting to hear from the attorney.

Just as FYI.

I did not find this under my I-129 petition for a non immigrant worker case history. It was available only under the I-290B Notice of Appeal or Motion case history.

I'd say wait for the notice.
Based on all my research, I think your case is approved.

Only wait now will be on USCIS to process your I129 approval which they have to do since the AAO approved the appeal.

Good luck!

Hi Raknah,

Thanks for all the info. Did you happen to receive any notification from the USCIS office? Also, could you please the timeline of events after you've received your final approval notice. Appreciate the help.

Hi All,

My case was reopened yesterday and got approved.

It was remanded by AAO and sent back to USCIS on June 5th.

It has been a long long wait! Don't lose your hopes.

I129 status: Case was approved and decision was emailed

I290B statu: Case was approved

Any idea how long it takes for i797 hard copy?

Regards,

Regards,

I am either one of the unlucky ones or the hard copy delivery is taking longer than expected. My case status says that the i797 was supposed to be delivered on the 16th, but my lawyers haven't received anything so they're reaching out to the USCIS today to see when we can expect the hard copy. Will keep you posted!
