How long does a case officer actually work on a i130 once he or she actually starts?

Hi,

What are people's experiences of after about 4 to 6 months (for TSC)  they finally see the date in Case Status change to a recent date until they receive their acceptance letter assuming no RFEs.  Please specify which service center was your case, whether Texas or other.

Please note, I am NOT asking how long from filing or NOA1.  The date I am asking about is when that initial date is updated after many months.  In other words, once a immigration reviewer has actually pulled the file for actual review until the acceptance letter is received.

Less than an hour usually, but you will never know from anything you see online when an adjudicator actually looks at your file.  As such, although my answer is accurate, it is pretty much useless.

Thank you Pushbrk.  I wonder if their is some kind of commonality or correlation generally speaking (i.e., not in cases of exception) regarding the time that one finally sees the date online finally change (ours only changed once after many months) and receipt of the letter.  Even if the online date does not correlate to the actual time that an adjudicator works on the case, there must be some kind of general timeframe that the date is updated online and later the letter is received.  That is really what I am looking for.
