No limit that I am aware of.  Just curious, were both rejections for the same error?  If so, time to get rid of your lawyer.

Good Luck!

Did an evaluation eventually. Took a week, $140 and they accepted copies of my diploma (I have my apostilled though). The company is called FIS.

Maybe it will help someone.

Hi. So you just added a copy of your docs? the university didnt need to email or mail anything to them? I also have all my orginal docs with me and its translation. it would be easer if i only can scan.

Hi thr! So Yes I got in touch with them twice over phone before I paid the fees and applied(completely online). The way it works is you start the application online and all you need is scanned copies of the original(good quality) to be uploaded. They do all the documents at once, meaning the high school and college from the foreign country. Atleast that is what I was told on the phone before I applied.

Regarding the I-693, I live in SC so its not as tight of a situation here and I was able to access couple of places for the medical examination. I went with one of the lowest costing one( $375 including everything). I dont think it is utmost important to do so while initial application, but the only reason I did it because I had to wait anyways for the I-944 evaluation and the I-693 will be in my hand(sealed) before that. Also I might as well send a complete package once and for all. Hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks.

I have a question. In their website they give you 2 options: 1) your school needs to mail or email de docs 2) you can scan you docs however they will contact your schools to confirm them. So you probably did the second option? but then it cost extra money the second option. I dont know why

Yeah the second option is when they will verify with the university for you. It's faster and easier. Mine was verified within 3 days from Indian university. In that time frame I can't even get on phone with someone. Haha. Now do they really do it or not I can't say but they put there stamp saying it's verified and thats what matters. Hope that answers your question.

Hello guys. I am at the same situation with the I 944. I have bachelor degree diploma and I am about to get my master diploma next year. For the master I can present a general reference with all the subject I had during  the master program. I will have the university to sigh it and stamp it. Do you think that would be accepted??

And for the bachelor, I am wondering which is the best option, Is it possible to use the service of some colleges or university in the States to acredited my bachelor diploma?? Thank you in advance!!

I am from Russia too. I did evaluation course by course in ECE for language certification too in I-944. They were pretty fast, paid for that Little bit more that 220 (2 copies+shipping) . 160 $ course by course, they did that in 1,5 weeks. I don’t know if it’s normal practice for them be fast or not. I sent it when they start working on 21 April.

hey guys,

just wanted to let you all know for my wife we just sent pictures her parents sent of her diplomas and then she translated all of them to english and added a copy certifying her translations.

We got all 4 NOAs for the forms, so it seems it may not be required. With that said we may get a RFE/RFIE but at least our case didn't get rejected

@Tjg312 I just wanted to see if you got an rfe or if everything still went ok without the equivalency. I’m about ready to submit and just wanted to be sure

Hey there,

I did get a RFE for birth certificate(I sent it, but i'm guessing they didn't like that we translated it ourselves, so I just got it done by another company), but nothing at all about that.

I got confirmation of RFE received and nothing else, so I'm guessing since I didn't get an RFE for that with my birth certificate one we're good

You’re welcome. I don’t know which state you’re in but here it NYC it’s $100 each plus 10 business days to have your credentials evaluated. Of course they have an expedited process ranging between $50 and $175 depending on how soon you want to have it but this is in addition to the initial $100 a piece 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. Good luck. Just evaluate the most recent certificate.. e.g, Evaluate the masters and not the bachelors unless you have money to burn 🤷🏾‍♀️

Hopefully you are right, nobody wants spend more money😂 However, I have different bachelors and masters, why do you think they need only last one?

I get that logic but it says any education should be evaluated. Also, I am not sure if I am Bachelor of Arts, laws, or science what I need to indicate in i944, and only evaluation can help me to answer😐

Hi there,

Just touching base to see you didn't get any further RFE re: your wife translating the diplomas herself? My transcripts are in English so if you didn't receive a RFE for the translated transcripts then that's a good sign for me! Thanks muchly :)
